The Art of Good Living

The Art of Good LivingI really enjoyed this book, although its a bit dated the advice is still excellent. There were a few things in here I raised my eyebrows at, especially the suggestions to eat more dairy... it makes me feel sluggish and sick and I've read in many other places to CUT down on dairy. but everything in here is VERY SIMPLE... I am the kind of person who gets overwhelmed with too much knowledge and feels the need to "do it all at once" ultimately leading to exhaustion and failure. I highly recommend this if you are like me and looking to improve your health with small, simple changes

Total Pilates: The Step-by-Step Guide to Pilates at Home for Everybody

Total Pilates: The Step-by-Step Guide to Pilates at Home for EverybodyI owned to original version which was bigger. It had become very tattered and worn, beeaking at the seams. Everything is exactly the same only being smaller I can carry it with me when I travel. It is a treasure to own... if you tried other pilates videos or books and were turned off by it like I was because of the level of difficulty. That you somehow were tricked because it looked so easy but you couldn't do it so you resigned and accepted you lost your money; this book is a sure fire way to love Pilates and get strong from the inside out its calming and soothing but at the same time intense and effective. With great meal ideas and morning routines this book is a power punch. With in 1 to 2 weeks you will begin to feel more flexible and stronger. It has a physical and mental element. I totally recommend it!!!
