The Tea Tree Oil Bible: Your Essential Guide for Health and Home Uses/Your First Aid Kit in a Bottle

The Tea Tree Oil Bible: Your Essential Guide for Health and Home Uses/Your First Aid Kit in a BottleIt's a user friendly book, that has help me save money. It is very well cross referenced in the main section and in the index. I was surprised to find out the hundreds of ways as well as health and other uses tea tree oil is good for. It helped my teenage daughter clear-up her acne. Discovered tea tree is great for disinfecting and cleaning uses. Best idea was how to use tea tree oil with my regular toothpaste to get rid of plaque. The dentists hygenist asked me if I'd recently had my teeth cleaned, sincew there was so little plaque. That tip alone, made the book worth it.

Yoga Mom, Buddha Baby: The Yoga Workout for New Moms

Yoga Mom, Buddha Baby: The Yoga Workout for New MomsThe description says that this is yoga to do with your baby. When I got the book it seemed like 90% of the time the baby was on the floor while mom was doing the yoga. I don't need a new book to give me that idea. I can already do yoga with my son on the floor next to me. I wanted, and thought this book would give, ideas on how to do my yoga practice with him.

I am a fitness instructor for prenatal and post partum women and I just love this book. I debated between several of the "mom-yoga" type books and I'm so glad I decided on this one. The exercises are safe, easy to follow, and wonderfully illustrated. It is even easy to follow if you are not a "yogi". My only criticism is that the binding does not lay flat so it's difficult to review the exercises during your workout. Otherwise, I recommend it for both prenatal (an entire chapter is dedicated) and postpartum women.

When my wife Sue started getting noticeably pregnant, she found Jyothi's class and it became one of the highlights of her entire pregnancy. If you're not lucky enough to live in New York and attend Jyothi's classes, this book is like bringing her into your home for a private lesson. Her voice comes through in the book, and the photos are clear (and really cute!). If any husbands are reading this, give Yoga Mama, Buddha Baby as a gift to your wife--she will be in a great mood for all nine months!

I really enjoyed this book. Not only is it clearly written, well-photographed and a good size but it proved inspirational. Being a yoga novice did not prevent me from trying some of the even more complex positions as the text is intuitive and the photographs are easy to follow.

Although most of the yoga is geared for mom there is plenty of material for your baby too the last review seems to have missed the subtitle of "The yoga workout for new moms". How much can you expect a baby to do? Downward dog? I think not!!

Style Yourself Over 40, 50 & Beyond

Style Yourself Over 40, 50 & BeyondStyle yourself over 40, 50 and beyond has taught me not only how to identify my own unique style and how that style reflects my personality, but why it's important to convey a consistent style that authentically communicates who I am . But it doesn't stop there. The author tells me where to shop to get the garments that reflect my style. I had no idea how relieving it would be just to know my style, where to shop for my style, and to know that my closet could be filled with garments that would allow me to dress in my style every single day. I no longer worry when I have to go shopping.

I am so happy to read cover to cover and feel the love of fashion the author, Sybil Henry has put into every page. She has given every woman over 40, 50 & beyond essential guidelines, and helpful tips on how to find your style and define your body shape and size (details begin in Part2 of the book) Sybil is making it all come together for women over 40.

She is also giving you stores and brands for your shopping experience. So go out there, grab your "new finds" and say 'thank you Sybil" and we love you.

I have read many fashion books, but this one is "Amazing" Each page you turn is worth the price of this book.

Style Yourself Over 40, 50 & Beyond is a MUST READ! I knew the basics about style but it always took me forever to put together outfits. Whether I was dressing for work or a night out, the process was painful and painfully long! I'd try on a million different combinations of things. I'd end up with the right outfit (maybe) but I'd also end up with a big pile of clothes on the bed. This book takes the guess work out of looking your best. It's so much more fun to shop now since "Style Yourself..." has taught me how to do it right. I take more style chances because I know what I'm doing now and co-workers/friends have started to notice. Some people have asked if I've lost weight or what I'm doing differently. I tell them, "Buy the book!" Added bonus: I'm not wasting money buying things I'll never wear; I buy the right clothes for my style and body type.

One of my hobbies is baking. I ALWAYS bake with a recipe so my desserts come out their best every time. "Style Yourself..." is my recipe book for looking my best everyday!

Based on the title and table of contents, I was expecting this book to be so much more useful than it was. There was actually nothing in it that was specific to women over 40, and there was nothing in it that was helpful in trying to define a personal style, unless you happen to fit into the ridiculously few categories that the author tries to lump all women into: Chic, glam, sporty, classic, etc. Even to these, she devotes only a couple of pages each, with no practical suggestions. The advice on finding clothes to flatter your body shape boiled down to a few pages, with a lot of white space, and was nothing that I hadn't seen better done before. This book was all promise and no actual delivery. As I said, it was such a disappointment. (A much, much better book on style and appearance for older women is "Staging Your Comeback," by Christopher Hopkins.)

Well, I am happy to report that I finally received the answer to style that I so desired. What is the first thing that came to mind after my excitement to this revelation? I must share this: "Sybil Henry", of "The Style Concierge" .

In her book she explores all things style from A to Z for women over forty. Not only does she explore the proper fit and where to shop, but she tackles the subject from head to toe. Through her writing she speaks candidly about her own journey and touches on "oh so many" of the issues, I am having with regards to "clothing" and how I "feel" as a woman over forty when in the dressing room. As well as beyond in the struggle to "show up" feeling the joy about my presentation to the world as I so confidently did in my younger years.

Check out her book, I can assure you, you'll be glad you did. It's packed with information that will help you achieve your authentic style.
