On my first glance through the book I was impressed. The writer clearly has both experience in the salon business, and business in general. Her treatment of subjects as diverse as marketing from health & safety in a salon are indicative of her detailed knowledge in the area, and also the genuine needs of a small business.The best parts are the practical tools which can save the salon owner time and money in tedious research. Buy it here and save your money for a more important purpose: you. I'm rating this a five star!!!
She honestly shares her trials and successes. There are other how to start you beauty business books available but they are generic business books which could apply to any business. What I love about this business start-up book is that its focused at the beauty industry, particularly nails and Ego shares her personality, personal hurdles and victories. She gives you the inside scoop of how she set things up. She tells you what you need to do. What you need to avoid. And she takes you by the hand, not as a bossy authoritative knows it all, but as a trusted friend and expert who had been there and is willing to help, advise and share valuable insider information.
