6 Pack After 60: A Simple & Effective System for Getting & Staying Strong (Volume 1)

Some of the examples he shares are quite interesting because of the unique ways and methodologies described in them. The one important takeaway for me from this book is that I now know a systematic and sustainable way to keeping myself fit. In fact, Jim has also included some useful illustrations in the book that makes it convenient for the reader to follow and practice in their daily fitness routines.
In short, plenty of takeaways for me that I can practise regularly.I grabbed this for some of the older people in my family, mainly my dad who is getting on a bit now not 60 yet though and those that surpass his age age and they all found it refreshing in one way or another.
Right now he is taking notes from this book and planning out a course of action. With my overview of what is contained I can see this being very effective for anyone who thinks it's too late to get in shape or cannot find the drive to do it. It's well written and presented clearly and easy enough for anyone to understand. I haven't found a book that matches the concept thus far but can now stop looking and go cycling with yesterdays couch potato :)

If you've NEVER exercised in your life, maybe get this booklet which for a beginner I'd rank 2 stars. If you have exercised and worked yourself into shape then with age let yourself lapse: on a daily basis start doing pushups, squats and chin ups/pull ups while being sure to use good form. Just FYI, I was a runner, coach and martial artist and always got bored going to health clubs to lift weights. There, for free, you have the essence of this booklet (only with my brief background vs the author's longer one). Or pay $4.95.I really liked this book. As someone in the health and wellness industry (nutrition) I am constantly looking for information that I can share with my clients regarding a sustainable strength program. That is exactly what this book addresses. Simple, effective exercises that can be done by anyone, in their own home, in the nooks and crannies of their day, that will build strength over time. Brilliant. The author provides a variety of exercises, explains the importance of tracking your progress, shows us what it should look like with photographs, and doesn't waste any time making it complicated. Well worth the five bucks.

At first glance this may seem like a book that only men would be interested in. However this is not the case. I found this book extremely helpful as it is so important for women to maintain a strong body and strong bones as they age.Mr. Hess's 6 Pack After 60 system is something that anyone can and should do. This book is well written and very easy to follow. The pictures are clear as are the instructions. The book is also very motivating and you know as you read it that yes, you can do this! That is how I felt throughout.
Thank you James Hess for writing this book! I know it will make a profound difference in my health as I age!

Esterson's combined experience and education position him as an ideal mentor for any physical therapy entrepreneur. The book's 15 chapters cover everything you need to know to start and grow your own practice, from testing your motivation and personal attitude, to selection of name and corporate type, to budget analysis, to managing business bank account, to writing a winning business plan, to building your management team, to selecting the best location, space, and equipment, to medical billing, to marketing your practice to patients and doctors, to working with managed care payers, to compliant and audit-safe coding, to hiring and managing employees, and measuring your success. Over 40 pages of various forms make a useful addition to this most reliable road map for physical therapy entrepreneurs.
Yuval Lirov, Practicing Profitability Billing Network Effect for Revenue Cycle Control in Healthcare Clinics and Chiropractic Offices: Collections, Audit Risk, SOAP Notes, Scheduling, Care Plans, and CodingExcellent book, great to start out with but I don't fully agree with all of the author's business approaches. Especially if you want to open up multiple offices. I do suggest the read, it is straight forward and has the essentials you need to know. Well worth it.

I am in the midst of starting my own PT practice. I had a few questions about insurance, and a few other particulars about starting this type of company. This book was very helpful, very informative, and gave a lot of references of where to go to get information. I read other reviews saying it wasn't a good "marketing" book, or the book seemed like the author was trying to talk you out of openning your own PT practice, but its not a marketing book and the author is just preparing you for possible pit-falls of the business. Excellent book if you are thinking of starting your own PT practice, I got a lot of valuable info out of it!!Read Best Reviews of Starting And Managing Your Own Physical Therapy Practice Here
I purchased this book for the intent of helping me write a business plan. The book is quite useful for the purpose of starting a physical therapy business. It contains helpful service benchmarks and loads of patient forms and examples of important documents needed in preparing your business plan. I would not recommend the book if you're interested in management tips; it is geared primarily for start-ups or new businesses. Very well written and easy to understand.Want Starting And Managing Your Own Physical Therapy Practice Discount?
