101 Plus Size Women's Clothing Tips (Lifetips Books)

101 Plus Size Women's Clothing TipsI loved these tips. As a full-figured woman always looking for ways to spice up my wardrobe, I found this book to be fun and practical. Especially for warm weather outfits, which I consistently find a problem with, I really enjoyed the style tips and advice. Shoes make a difference, too! And I love how the author combined her fashion sense with foot sense. It's a good reference book that you can have to use whenever you need a quick tip.

This book is great for fashion advice for bigger women. It's hard to find style information for my size (22W)and Ms. Moultry's book gave me ideas for dressing using clothes that are already in my own closet. I particularly love the chapter about ideas for women with a sort of apple shape, since this is what my body looks like. Would recommend to any woman over size 12, looking for fashion advice.

I found this book to be nothing new and nothing special. I'd imagine some women would find it useful as a very concise summary of fashion tips but I read it cover to cover at one sitting and honestly did not see anything in there I did not already know. I must expain however that I work as a colour and image consultant also, I am NOT plus-sized. Some tips weren't especially enlightening eg Tip No 76 Wear Sox When You Work Out...Tip 74 talks about washing your gym gear regularly. I also take exception to the same old refrain about how 'everybody should wear black' on some women the colour is too heavy for their natural colouring and makes them look even heavier than they are not kind if they are plus-sized already. There are other books that do a much better job eg I've just begun reading Suzan Nanfeldt's Plus Style, which looks brilliant.
