There's A Lot of P in Healthcare

I have been knocking around in health care a long time and I cannot recommend this read more highly. Obviously Greg is not a clinician and he doesn't claim to be, but he definitely "gets it" about health care. If I could go back to college I would suggest this be required reading for every nursing, therapy, healthcare administration, etc. student in school. Mr. Efta hits the nail straight on the head... this is why we do what we do. Read it.

When I began reading this book I did not know what to expect. It gives lots of insight into the healthcare industry, but it is coming from a non-medical, lay person persepctive. The authour is an expert in the helathcare industry becasue he has been receiveing it for most of his life. This is what gives this book such a unique approach. Most of us do not know what it is like to be intricately involved in the healthcare industry. Mr. Efta is reassuring in his insights. When someone gives you comfort and says, "I know how you feel." The authour really does and it is helpful.

This is once powerful little book! I have been struggling with passion in my job and many passages in this book were written just for me... I'm sure of it! If you work in healthcare or have ever worked in healthcare or just have a job in any field there will be passages in this book that will speak to you too... I'm sure of it! I highly recommend this book.
