This book was exactly what I was looking for. I feel like I've learned a routine that I'll always be able to use no matter what equipment is available, and the pictures and descriptions always made it clear exactly how to do the exercises.
One thing I liked was that for some of the exercises, just developing the balance and strength to do one repetition was rewarding. It's definitely gratifying to do an exercise and feel like you're learning a new skill at the same time, which is something I don't really get out of weight training.
I don't think I'm going to give up other types of training altogether, just because I enjoy them, but the exercises I've learned in this book have definitely earned a permanent spot in my regular routine. Anybody who wants to learn some challenging bodyweight exercises could benefit from this book.I have been doing nothing but bodyweight exercises now for about that last 6 yrs,after years of heavy weight lifting,and the exercises in this book will give your body a terrific workout,there not easy,and some of them I can't quite do yet,but if you work at these exercises your will find out that you get a complete total body workout, just like in his other books Patrick explains the exercises very clear,and shows you how do them the right way and in a safe manner,I can't say enough great things about Patricks books, I have 5 of his books and proud to say I have them,you buy his books, your can't go wrong with them,they are great

Long story short, I wanted a book that would teach me some harder bodyweight exercises, and this book did it. I now have a few more tricks up my sleeve when I want to do a hard workout without any equipment. I'm always looking for new workouts. Lately I've really gotten into bodyweight exercises. This book taught me some difficult new things to try out and some new twists on old favorites. I've worked several of the exercises into my routine and I'm already feeling stronger.
